FAQ
What Camera/Lens setup do you use?
My current setup includes a canon 5D Mark 2 professional digital SLR along with a range of professional grade lenses and accessories which allows me to offer professional photography and videography services for all of your events
What are your prices?
Instead of offering fixed rates, I prefer to offer packages customized to your event and budget. Generally, wedding coverage starts at around $900 for one day of coverage with one photographer. Portrait and Headshot sessions can be booked for $150 which includes 5 high quality retouched photos on CD as well as an unlimited number of outfits and shooting at the location of your choice. Shorter events and sporting events (up to 4 hours) can be booked at an hourly rate of $75 per hour. All packages include high quality (21.1 MP) digital copies of your photos. Video services are also available with hourly rates starting at $100 an hour (up to 6 hours) and packages available for longer events.
Why are video rates higher?
Video requires editing, combining clips, and other time intensive post processing and is therefore offered at a higher rate than my photography services.
How did Desai Digital get started?
Looking for a summer job in June '09, Rahul became the founder of Desai Digital Imaging! he has always been interested in photography, got his first SLR when he was 10, and hasn't looked back since!
Who is this Rahul character anyway?
Rahul's other interests include sports, iced coffee, habanero peppers, lemonade, leaving the guns and taking the cannolis (yum), chris paul, triple doubles, mexican food, food in general, alto sax, music of all sorts, going with the flow, basketball, lightning, water, sun, nachos, La Verdad Taqueria, physics, perfectly cooked falafel, and taking photos.
